Has anyone receiving Kanuma ever have it done on a 1 hour drip? My 4 year olds last treatment was accidentally done by staff this way.

has she had any side effects? The lowest time we were prescribed was 2 hours but our nurse accidentally set it on an hour last week. With the one hour is tummy seemed to hurt but he can not verbalize how he feels so I was curious if it had affects on anyone else. Is she on a 1 hour/ 1 hour each time now?

Hi Nicole

To be honest I have no idea, but Martina (my daughter) is going well when she receives the treatment in one hour. She didn´t tell us that she suffered any special effect. She doesn´t like to stay on the bed. She is a kid and she wants to enjoy playing. We try to read and paint with her while she is receiving the infusion. At the beginning of the clinical trial the nurse took two hours of infusion and two hours under observation, but now we are spending less time. The rest of children patients in Spain are receiving the treatment in the same time. I think you shouldn´t be worry about it. I think it is more important to play with them and enjoy together during that tough time.
